Derek Abrahams Piano Competition 2019

This annual competition was set up in memory of Derek Abrahams by his wife and daughter just over 30 years ago. Derek was  a member of the visiting music team for many years who championed the work of young pianists and music written for the piano.

The competition is open to all boys at Grade 1 standard and above across three Classes. There is an additional non-competitive Abrahams Elementary Festival for those boys who are not yet at Grade 1 standard, but who would like to experience the opportunity to perform on the Grand Piano in the concert hall to an audience and panel.
