The Leake Lecture Series

The Leake Lecture Series, named after a former Headmaster, fits perfectly with our ‘Launchpad’ concept. Visiting speakers and subject matter are chosen to enthuse and inspire the boys. A richly diverse set of speakers present on a range of different, interesting subjects from the worlds of sport, music, religion, architecture, film, theatre, science and history, among others, in a bid to cater for all tastes and preferences.

These weekly lectures, organised and hosted by a group of Year 8 pupils, take place on Wednesdays from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. in the Music School Concert Hall.  Attendance is free and voluntary, for all who wish to come along – Dulwich Prep Middle and Upper School boys, their siblings, parents, staff and members of the wider community.  Lower School boys are welcome too, but should be accompanied by an adult.

Typically, there are approximately sixteen presentations during the school year.

A warm welcome is extended to all who want to become involved – we are always in the market for transmitters and receivers!
